Every head of hair is different.
Crown & Coil is a natural and textured hair salon in Savannah, Georgia, founded by Simone Baptiste, a licensed cosmetologist and certified curl specialist.
Simone and three stylists spend their week on curls, coils and locs. A trim that suits a loose wave is not the trim that suits a tight coil, so we look at your hair before we plan the appointment.
Every new client starts with a 20-minute hair health consultation. We check your scalp, your ends and how you have been caring for your hair at home, then agree on what to do and what it costs.

Simone takes your consultation herself.
She is a licensed cosmetologist and certified curl specialist, and she opened Crown & Coil after years of watching curls cut with the wrong tools and the wrong plan.
Ask her what will happen to your hair after a silk press, or how long a set of starter locs takes to settle, and you get a straight answer. She will also tell you when the style you found online will not hold on your hair.

How long an appointment takes depends on your hair, so we plan it at the consultation rather than on the phone. These are the four we book most often.
We also do scalp treatments, colour mixed for textured hair, and comb coils and twists.

Price depends on how much hair you have and how long it is, so anything with colour or added length is quoted at your consultation, before we start.
